Discovering Avian Diversity: Birding Highlights from Botswana's Okavango Safari
On a recent safari to Wilderness Chitabe and Mokete in Botswana’s Okavango region, birding became one of those unexpected threads that ran through the journey. Together with our guests, we spotted and identified 71 different bird species during our time at two camps—from eagles and vultures to bee-eaters, kingfishers, storks, and some of the Delta’s smaller, less obvious characters.
