A Rare Journey Into Namaqualand’s Spring Bloom
For a few short weeks each year, Namaqualand, South Africa, does something extraordinary. Few places on Earth offer such an extraordinary combination of aviation, nature, photography and adventure in a single unforgettable journey
This vast, often quiet stretch of South Africa’s West Coast shifts almost overnight, as wildflowers spread across the plains in carpets of orange, yellow, white and purple. Our overnight Africa Sky Runners Flying Flower Safari is built around that brief seasonal moment — and the journey to reach it is part of the experience.
An exceptional outing for couples and families!

Fly Into the Flowers by Private Aircraft
Skip the long road journey and see the West Coast, South Africa, from the air in our Cessna aircraft, flying from Stellenbosch over coastal dunes, lagoons, fishing villages and the wide-open landscapes of Namaqualand before landing near the flower fields

Guided by a Local Namaqualand Flower Expert
Guests are guided by Dudley Wessels, a respected local Namaqualand guide whose knowledge of the region’s flowers, geology, history and culture adds real depth to the experience.
